Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken is so quick and easy to make! And it only uses 2 ingredients! You’ll want to save this recipe for those busy nights.
If you’ve been reading my blog for a little while then you know how much I love quick and easy meals for dinner. One of my favorite meals that is super easy to make is BBQ Chicken Wraps.
I usually make this about once a month because the chicken will last me almost all week, and that way I have BBQ chicken for lunch, too. I love to eat it in a bowl with a little shredded cheddar cheese sprinkled on top, or as a sandwich on a bun or roll. It’s just so good!
To Make Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken
To make Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken, you put two thawed chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Cover the chicken with a bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce. (I use Kraft’s Hickory Smoke BBQ Sauce.)
You let that cook on low all day, about 8 hours. If you need it quicker, you can cook it on high for about 4 hours.
Once it’s done, put the chicken in the bowl and shred it. I use my Pampered Chef Salad Chopper. This thing is amazing! But, you can also use a fork, or whatever you like to use best.
After the chicken is shredded I add a few spoonfulls of the BBQ sauce that’s still in the slow cooker and stir it up. I like to put a slice of cheese cut in half on my tortilla shell and put the chicken on top of that. Wrap it up and you’re done!
I love how quick and easy this meal is. If you have busy nights and just don’t have time to cook a big meal, BBQ Chicken wraps will solve that problem for you.
