The last thing you should worry about on your birthday is cooking dinner or baking yourself a cake. So I put together this list of 65 birthday freebies from restaurants for you!
Most of these places require that you sign up for their emails or loyalty programs at least a week or more before your birthday. I like to sign up at least a month in advance to get free birthday stuff. That way I usually forget I signed up and I have a nice surprise in my inbox on my birthday.

Applebee’s
When you sign up for the Applebee’s email club, you’ll get $5 off when you spend at least $25. Plus, when you sign up, you’ll get a free appetizer.
Au Bon Pain
Get a free coffee and pastry on your birthday when you join the Au Bon Pain EClub. As a bonus, you’ll get a free travel mug plus daily discounts on coffee just for signing up.
Auntie Anne’s

Thanks for this! I am saving it, as I never think to get free food on my birthday, just as I never remember to ask for a senior discount, even though I’ve been eligible for years. (I was given a discount no questions asked when my son’s mother-in-law and I were setting out on a trip to see “the kids.” Neither of us had put on our makeup yet, and we were charged about 40 cents for our morning coffees! When questioned, the kid behind the counter said, “Senior discount.” We left, saying, “Dang! We should skip the makeup more often!”
