Make a cute and stylish hoop wreath with Dollar Tree supplies for under $5!

Hoop wreaths will never go out of style. They are so cute and easy to put together yourself.

One of the best things about making a hoop wreath is that it doesn’t have to be huge or expensive. Dollar Tree has a lot of supplies you can get to make your own hoop wreath for cheap, yet still beautiful.

Keep reading to see how I made my hoop wreath out of an embroidery hoop and supplies from Dollar Tree. And it only cost me $2 to make!

What you need:

  • Burlap ribbon
  • Flowers
  • Embroidery Hoop
  • Scissors
  • Hot Glue

I purchased the burlap ribbon and faux flowers from Dollar Tree. The embroidery hoop I already had on hand.

What you do:

Step 1

Measure the burlap ribbon to be a little longer on both sides than the diameter of the embroidery hoop.

Cut little triangles on the ends of your burlap ribbon, open the embroidery hoop, and put the ribbon in the middle. Close the hoop.

Step 2

Add the flowers. I put mine around the bottom first to see how I would like them arranged, then I used hot glue to keep them in place.

Step 3

Hang it up! Your hoop wreath is complete. See how easy?

I hung my hoop wreath in my bathroom over my shelf. This picture was taken last year when we still had a bathroom. Let me explain.

Bathroom Remodel

We are in the process of renovating our house so we can sell it. It has turned into a much bigger project than we thought it would be. We started with the bathroom because it is the room that needed to be done first.

First of all, we had to have our septic tank pumped out. When they came to look at it, the whole system is basically not working correctly so it needed to be replaced. A man from the Health Department came out to look at our land and told us we cannot put another septic tank anywhere on our property. Our ground is just not made for it. So we were told we had to hook up to the town’s sewer system.

This all started at the beginning of April. It is now the middle of May and we are still waiting. We have already started taking down the walls in the bathroom so we could start the remodel. The only problem is we can’t finish because our plumbing needs to be redone and we have to wait on the town people to hook us up to the sewer before we can do that.

There has been a lot of waiting. People have been on vacation, talking to lawyers, trying to get approved, all while we have to sit and wait. Needless to say when you only have one bathroom in your house, a month of waiting feels more like a year.

This is what our bathroom has looked like for over a month:

All the supplies along with the new sink and bathtub have been bought. They are patiently waiting to be put in. However, who knows how long they will have to continue to wait!
