Creative Crafts Using Old Magazines
If you just don’t know what to do with old magazines, why not use the pages to make a bowl? A DIY magazine page bowl is perfect for holding keys, hair accessories, loose change, and other small objects. Plus, this craft relieves stress because you get to rip the pages out of old magazines.
Add some color to an old picture frame using old magazine pages. Just cut magazine pages into strips, roll them up, and glue them to the base of the frame. So easy!
Real flowers fade and die in a few days, but paper flowers will last forever! And if you’re allergic to real flowers, paper ones are the way to go. Rock and Roll Bride shows us how to make a bouquet of flowers that will last long after the honeymoon.
One of my favorite crafts using old magazines is paper beading. You’d never know the beads were made from old magazine pages! You can make earrings, bracelets, and necklaces just by rolling up paper. It’s the perfect rainy day craft, too!
Need a coaster to protect your tables from water stains? Why not make them yourself using old magazines? Coasters are a great way to recycle old magazines!
I love a fun and unique wreath and this one from Addicted 2 Decorating is just that! She used about 3 magazines to create a beautiful wreath for her home. What a great way to repurpose old magazines!

These are super creative ideas! Most of the time I like to pass my magazines along for someone else to read. However, many times they don’t make the cut and end up getting recycled. These ideas are great alternatives. Now I just need to decide which one to try first!
