{Jump to Recipe}I love a quick and easy dinner. I don’t want to spend a lot of time prepping and cooking, but I do love a good home-cooked meal.
My recipe for slow cooker BBQ chicken is so easy to make and there’s no prepping involved. It takes about 5 minutes to put everything in the slow cooker and turn it on.
Usually, I make these wraps about once a month or so. When I make this, I add extra chicken to the slow cooker so that I will have plenty left over. This will last a few days in the refrigerator.
For lunches during the week, I heat up some of the BBQ chicken in the microwave, then have it on a hamburger bun with a slice of cheese, or by itself with shredded cheese on top. It pairs so well with the cheese!
BBQ Slow Cooker Chicken Wraps
This recipe only requires two ingredients – a bottle of BBQ sauce and chicken breasts, thawed. My favorite BBQ sauce is Kraft’s Hickory Smoke flavored.
Put 2 or 3 chicken breasts in the slow cooker and pour the entire bottle of BBQ sauce over it. Put the lid on and cook it on low for 8 hours, or high for 4 hours.

Once it’s done, put the chicken in the bowl and shred it. I use my Pampered Chef Salad Chopper. This thing is amazing! But, you can also use a fork, or whatever you like to use best.


After the chicken is shredded I add a few spoonfuls of the BBQ sauce that’s still in the slow cooker and stir it up. I like to put a slice of cheese cut in half on my tortilla shell and put the chicken on top of that. Wrap it up and you’re done!

I love how quick and easy this meal is. If you have busy nights and just don’t have time to cook a big meal, BBQ Chicken wraps will solve that problem for you.

- Put the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- Cover chicken with entire bottle of BBQ sauce.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or high for 4 hours.
- When chicken is done, shred with a fork.
- Cut a cheese slice in half and place both halves on tortilla long ways.
- Put BBQ chicken on top of cheese, wrap up and enjoy!
