BBQ Chicken Pizza
Looking for a quick and easy meal idea for those busy weeknights? This BBQ Chicken Pizza is just the meal you need!
- 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 cup BBQ sauce, plus 3 or 4 tablespoons
- 1/2 cup diced green bell peppers
- 1/2 cup diced red onion
- 2 cups chicken breast, cooked and cubed
Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
Roll out the pizza dough with a rolling pin or your hands; bake in preheated oven for 7 minutes.
Meanwhile, mix chicken with 1 cup of BBQ sauce in a small bowl.
Cover pizza dough with 3 or 4 tablespoons BBQ sauce, then add chicken, peppers, onions, and cheese.
Return pizza to oven, cook for 10-12 minutes longer, or until cheese is melted and dough is golden brown.
Prep ahead by dicing the peppers and onions and placing them in a bag in the refrigerator. Cook chicken ahead of time in the slow cooker.
A good side dish is a quick salad, which can also be prepared ahead of time!
