Father's Day Gift Guide

It seems like we just celebrated our moms for Mother’s Day and now we’re already celebrating our dads!

For me, Mother’s Day is a lot easier for gift giving. Mom’s love handmade gifts and appreciate any little thing you give them because it’s the thought that counts.

Sure, my dad appreciates anything, too (he’s happy with a bag of Pistachios), but I feel like I need to get him something useful, yet meaningful. Something he will use all the time.

I put this Father’s Day gift guide together for myself as well as to help you decide what to get the dad in your life this year.

From the daughter

No matter what age, daughters will always be daddy’s little girls. This keychain sums that right up! How sweet! And dad can keep it with his other keys so you’ll always be on his mind.

From the son

My dad can always use a new wallet every year. That thing must get used a lot because it’s always torn somewhere. I just love this engraved personalized wallet. Any text can be added to make it a special gift.

From the kids

I think this book is the cutest and sweetest gift idea for kids to give dad. They create their own book using photos, drawings, stickers, etc. There are also fill-in-the-blank prompts for the kids to write special memories and reasons why they love their dad.

From the wife

This gift is so cool!! It’s a soundwave art block that you can personalize with his favorite song (or your song together). Just send them the song or any sound clip and the company will turn the soundwaves into art. What a great way to display your love song or your first child’s heart beat!

For the griller

If your dad loves to grill, this grilling set is amazing! It comes with everything dad needs to cook a great BBQ on the grill, plus a cooler bag! I’d buy this just for the bag alone.

For the DIYer

This magnetic wrist band is the perfect idea for your dad or husband who loves to DIY. It has magnets inside that hold screws, nails, and drill bits, and even smaller tools. Maybe this would keep my husband from spending 30 minutes looking for that one screw he lost while he’s working around the house.

For the reader

Who doesn’t love dad jokes? This book is full of some of the best dad jokes out there. There are longer jokes as well as some great one-liners. Here’s an example of a joke from the book that cracks me up: “When I was feeling down, my friend told me, ‘It could be worse. You could be stuck underground in a hole full of water.’ I knew he meant well.”

For the techie

Echo Show is really amazing. This thing will let you watch movies and TV shows, and listen to your favorite radio station, audiobooks, and any music you want. You can even Voice call or video call family, which is a wonderful idea since a lot of families haven’t been able to see each other since the beginning of the pandemic. You can also personalize it to flip through your photos album from Amazon Photos. There’s so much more that the Echo Show can do that I just can’t type here.
