Last Minute Mother’s Day DIY Gift Ideas

Are you looking for a more personal gift to give Mom for Mother’s Day? Try one of these last minute Mother’s Day DIY gift ideas!

Remember how much time and effort you put into those handmade gifts for Mom when you were little? Working your little hands off until the gift was just right, only to have it halfway fall apart moments later? Just because you’re not little any more doesn’t mean that Mom still doesn’t appreciate those handmade gifts.

Your mom still wants you to put time and effort in her gifts. She wants them to be thoughtful, not expensive. Most of all, your mom just wants to know that you still care and you still think of her.

Your mom needs to know that she is worth your time.

So, instead of running around all day the day before Mother’s Day picking over all the leftover gifts, take the time to make your own gift. She will love it because it came from you!

Here are some great last minute Mother’s Day DIY gift ideas.

Last-Minute Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

New Sew Lavender Scented Drawer Sachet

Lavender is such a relaxing scent! Your mom will love adding the scent of lavender to freshen up her bedroom dresser drawers. But, she doesn’t have to limit this sachet to her drawer. It’s also perfect for gym bags, vehicles, linen closets, and so much more!

Fill a Basket With Goodies

Baskets are so easy to personalize. Just grab a basket and fill it with all of your mom’s favorite! For some great ideas on what to put in a Mother’s Day basket, click here.

Silky Skin Spray

This spray is so easy to make and only uses a few natural ingredients. It leaves your skin feeling so silky smooth without being greasy. This is a great idea to make on it’s on or add it to your basket! After you make it, wrap it in a pretty mesh drawstring bag and add a little tag letting her know what it is.

Rustic Wooden Wall Cross Decor

This wooden wall cross is so quick and easy to make! You only need a few supplies and you’re done!

Farmhouse Style Wall Decor

Using an old picture frame and some items from Dollar Tree, you can make Mom a farmhouse wall decor gift she’s sure to love! (And she’ll never know it only cost a few bucks!)

Shabby Chic Lamp

I think this was my favorite DIY project to make. Hometalk featured it a couple of weeks ago and so many people loved it! I’m sure your mom will love it, too!
